Microsoft Visual Foxpro utilizes the so-called Rushmore™ technology.
This is a data access technique which enables very efficient and thus
time-saving access to data sets. The Rushmore™ optimization of search operations
uses indices in order to find specific data sets. It is always used when a
search is performed which requires access to several indexed table fields at a
time.
