Menu Item Drawing No.

Select the menu item Drawing No. to execute a search for a drawing in the parts catalog. The window «Search drawing numbers» opens. You can search for a drawing by the following criteria.

Drawing No.: Number of a drawing,

Sheet: Sheet of a drawing,

Version: Version of a drawing,

Type: Type of drawing, i.e. image file formats,

Name: Name of a drawing,

Name (alternative): Alternative name of a drawing.

Any: Tick the checkbox to search for any drawing number.

Searching

Type in the desired search criteria in the corresponding field. Note that only parts are listed that fulfill all input search criteria, i.e. a logic AND operation is executed. Leave a field blank to exclude the corresponding criterion from the search.

Click [Search] to execute the search. The search results are displayed in a tabular form.

Selecting, sorting and ordering

You can select parts of the search result list, sort the items, and change the order of the columns as described in Chapter List Window.

Function buttons

 

[Close]		Closes the window.
[Search]		Executes the search.
[Copy to Clipboard]		Copies the search results to the Windows Clipboard (e.g. for importing them into a spreadsheet). The database fields Drawing No., Sheet, Version, Type, Name, Name (alternative) are exported to the clipboard.
[Display parts]		Lists the parts that correspond to the found drawings. The list is displayed on the search page, see Chapter Search Results.
