Searching

This chapter explains how to search for a part in the catalog.

Proceed as follows to search for an object in the catalog, see Fig. Procedure for searching.

1	Select the search page, see Chapter Tabs.

2	Select the search method, see Chapter Search Methods.

Select the item(s) which you want to search for. An incremental search is performed if the corresponding option is selected, see Chapter Search: Shortly (about half a second) after each keyboard entry a quick search is automatically performed. Type in the entire search term in normal speed to avoid intermediate searching.

4	Execute the search (not necessary for incremental search):

Click [Search], or

Press the [Enter] key.

5	The field Searchresult displays all the spare parts which contain the searched item.

6	Select the desired search result, see Chapter Search Results. Information on the part is displayed as described in Chapter Information on Parts.
