Copying Options

Before the parts catalog is installed on your PC you must select the options for copying the catalog files.

NOTE:
When installing SPCat standard user have in general no write permission on the «Program Files» folder. In this case you have to select another destination directory for which you have write permission. See Chapter Access Rights and SPCat Installation.

By default, the destination folder for the catalog files is drive:\Program Files where drive stands for your hard disk drive letter. In the destination folder, a subfolder for the application is created. Click [Browse] to select a different destination folder.

Tick the corresponding checkbox to select and unselect the required options. Depending on your operating system and your privileges some options may not be available.

 

Install for all users		Select this option to add the catalog icon to the program folder of the start menu for all users of the local PC.
Install only for current user		Select this option to add the catalog icon to the program folder of the start menu for the current user of the local PC, i.e. only the person who has installed the catalog may start it via the start menu.
Create Shortcut		Select this option to create a shortcut to the catalog that appears on the desktop of the PC.

Function buttons

 

[Browse]		Opens a window to select a different destination folder.
[Ok]		Continues with the installation procedure. The catalog is installed on your PC. The window «Copying catalog files» appears that displays the progress of copying files, see Fig. Window «Copying catalog files» (example).
[Cancel]		Cancels the installation procedure.
