Menu Item Settings

NOTE:
The menu item Settings is not available when:
 SPCat is run from CD-ROM.
 Maintenance tasks are triggered by the GUI (GUI mode).
Select the menu item Settings to set the initial date and the advance notice times for performing the periodic maintenance tasks:
 Initial date: Defines the date from when the time counter for periodic tasks starts, e.g. commissioning of the system.
 Advance notice time: Defines the time span of announcing tasks of a specific maintenance period before the scheduled time.
Example: 1 day for weekly tasks means
 Task to perform at wednesday.
 Task is already announced at tuesday.

Integer number
Days for the advance time for performing tasks of a specific maintenance period.
Hours
Integer number
Hours for the advance time for performing tasks of a specific maintenance period.
Proceed as follows to set the advanced notice times:
1 Click on the desired period.
2 Click on the field Days and/or Hours. Type in the desired number of days and hours, respectively.
3 Click [Save] to save the new settings.

Function buttons

 
[Set initial date for checklist]
 
Opens a window to the set the initial date for the checklist. Refer to Chapter Changing the Date.
Note that this function is password-protected.
[Reset to default]
 
Sets the advance notice times to the default values.
[Set as default]
 
Changes the default values to the currently set times.
Note that this function is password-protected.
[Save]
 
Closes the window. Current settings are used.
[Undo]
 
Undoes the last change.
[Close]
 
Closes the window without saving changes.
